The world has witnessed a surge in emerging animal infectious diseases in recent years, posing significant threats to public health, animal welfare, and the economy. This paper aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the factors contributing to the emergence of these diseases, their impacts on various sectors, and the control strategies implemented to mitigate the risks.
