病原体对呼吸系统疾病的影响

摘要

慢性气道疾病包括广泛的上、下气道疾病,如鼻炎、慢性鼻-鼻窦炎、支气管炎、肺炎,这些疾病经常同时发生,因为它们可以代表单一潜在病理生物学过程的不同表现。呼吸道感染是人类最常见的传染病,一般来说,上呼吸道病毒感染会导致轻微的自限症状,然而,更严重的下呼吸道感染可导致肺炎的发展。
