Logical Framework and Practical Approaches of AI Empowering University Educational Management from the Perspective of Technology Implementation Theory
Abstract
With the rapid advancement of modern digital technologies, artificial intelligence (AI) has become a key driver for innovation in higher education. Guided by the "technology-institution-action" logical framework of Technology Implementation Theory, the application of AI in university student management essentially involves achieving Pareto optimality in collaborative management, policy formulation, and execution through the mutual construction among information technology, university bureaucratic organizations, and existing institutions. However, technological adoption may pose risks such as data security risks, the dilemma of managerial uncertainty, and impaired effectiveness of educational management. University educational management must not only embrace emerging technologies but also prudently address their potential risks. By advancing the deep integration of AI with educational management across technological, institutional, and operational dimensions, universities can modernize their governance systems and capabilities, thereby fulfilling the fundamental mission of fostering virtue through education.
