A study of Intercultural Communication in Foreign Language Teaching and Learning
Abstract
This paper mainly focuses on talking about the research on intercultural communication in foreign language teaching and learning. The whole paper includes an introduction, a literature review, and a discussion and conclusion part. In a word, the intercultural study concludes that cultivating ICC is urgent and indispensable for modern foreign language education. To meet the needs of a globalized society (especially in China), universities might innovate by training teachers to have intercultural perspectives. Meanwhile, it should focus on developing students’ competencies and aiming to help people to have an intercultural horizon and awareness, and eventually to create a harmonious global community through the development of intercultural communication competence.
